Verbs!

Verbs are the action words in a sentence that describe what the subject is doing. Along with nouns  verbs are the main part of a sentence or phrase  telling a story about what is taking place.

    Kia Ora Kaysha,

    it is great to see you include a description of what a verb is. Next time double check your work to see if you only circled verbs, I spotted a couple of adverbs, nouns and adjectives.

    I always describe verbs as doing words, they tell us what someone is doing.
